2022 Strategic Plan

CLC is proud to unveil our 2022 Strategic Plan. The past several years has been a period of both organizational growth and complex societal challenges. In developing this plan, we dug deep – we spent the time to do the work, had the tough conversations, listened to our clients, and looked inward to reflect on our role within the child welfare system.

While we are proud of the advocacy our dedicated attorneys and staff provide on behalf of our young clients, we realize that our mission requires us to go farther. The goals we developed are ambitious and will no doubt present challenges along the way, but I am confident that the desired impact is within reach.

As you read through the plan you will see the passion of our staff, Board of Directors, and supporters embodied in our vision for the future. You will also see that continuous quality improvement informed by youth voice and client experiences is our north star.

The collaborative process led to three overarching organizational goals:

All three goals are supported by CLC’s foundational commitment of continuous quality improvement through data-driven accountability, consistent and meaningful client input, and the strengthening and streamlining of internal processes.
