Your support through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a powerful way to stand with the tens of thousands of children and youth we serve in California’s foster care system. Making a gift from your DAF is a simple, tax-effective way to ensure every child has the legal support and advocacy they deserve.

How to Give from Your Donor-Advised Fund

Follow these simple steps to recommend a grant to Children’s Law Center of California through your DAF provider.

1. Log In to Your DAF Account

Access your account at your sponsoring organization, such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or your local community foundation.

2. Search for Our Organization

Enter our legal name, Children’s Law Center of California, and our EIN if needed: 95-4591684.

3. Recommend a Grant

Choose the amount you wish to give. You can designate it for general support or a specific program that’s meaningful to you.

4. Include Special Notes

If you have any specific instructions, like designating your gift for our “Uplift with a Gift” program or “Client Needs Fund,” please add them in the notes or instructions field.

5. Submit Your Grant Request

Once you submit your request, your DAF provider will send the donation directly to us. Thank you for making a difference!

If you have any questions about donating through your DAF or other ways to support our work, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
