Children’s Law Center of California is always seeking community partners to advance the interests of our clients and improve the outcomes of court-involved youth. Our organization invites practicing attorneys at all levels, and in all fields, to join our mission and become a member of a child’s advocacy team to ensure their legal needs are met and their voices are heard.
Our clients often face several legal issues, often all at once. CLC collaborates with interested legal partners seeking to make an impact in the child welfare community.
Pro bono opportunities include, but are exclusive to:
- Special Immigrant Juvenile status (SIJs)
- Disability rights
- Name change requests related to child identity
CLC can also happy to design a pro bono project with firms and individuals who can help us expand the work we do. We’re excited to explore ways that interested attorneys may use their legal expertise to make a lasting difference in a child’s life.
Please contact Dean Conklin, Managing Attorney of Workforce Development, at conklind@clccal.org to learn more about our pro bono opportunities.
