Advocates in Action 2025 was a Success!
| What an unforgettable night! Hundreds of guests filled the room for Advocates in Action, coming together to celebrate and support children and youth in foster care. Our incredible honorees reminded us why we do this work- and why we are CLC. A HUGE thank you to Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio, BEIS, and the CarePortal for their ongoing support and unwavering commitment. CLC’s Youth Advisory Council brought strength, energy, and fresh air into the room, inspiring everyone around them. Guests enjoyed delicious food from LA Roots and the signature drink was a highlight of the evening, while paddles were raised high and generosity radiated throughout the room. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing sponsors, and to our auctioneer, who lit up the night with excitement and helped make this event a tremendous success. Because of you, we can continue fighting for brighter futures for children in foster care across California. |

Every child deserves that same chance, and that’s what your support makes possible. Our event may be over, but the work continues every day. Join us as we celebrate 20 years of our Uplift with a Gift holiday campaign!
You can make a difference and brighten the lives of children in foster care who would otherwise go without holiday gifts. There are three easy ways to get involved:
1) Sign up to support a child, multiple children, or an entire family and fulfill their holiday wish list.
2) Purchase items to be distributed to families from our wish list.
3) Make a monetary donation to the fund and leave the shopping to us.
The deadline to donate is December 10.
Through your generous support, last year we were able to provide gifts (toys, books, clothes, blankets, and food) for thousands of CLC’s clients in need. If you would like to sponsor a child, a few children, or an entire family for the holidays, we could use your help!!
